I feel constantly excited, challenged and stretched when I am bringing my imagination into being. I love what I am finding out about natural and synthetic materials, how they interact together, combine their respective qualities and tensile strengths, and how essential it is to create things with a natural centre of balance.

I seek to explore the paradox of movement implied in a static form. Attempting to express this through the use of inanimate materials creates an incongruity which I find amusing.

This juxtaposition of stillness and motion is recognition and acceptance of the polarity within all things. I search for the spirit where transience and permanence merge. I am fascinated by the continuum of transition from one point to another in time. These infinitesimally small moments are all we ever have.
